Buckland Newton Place - Window Shutter Restoration

I was commissioned to paint and restore the wonderful french doors and window shutters at Buckland Newton Place in Dorset. The original mouldings had a lot of damage and cracking caused by movement. I replaced deteriorated areas with replica mouldings and filled all the cracks. The shutters were then painted with Mylands - ‘Bone - BH.04’. It was a time consuming project but the end results were fantastic.
